Drag the shortcut to your IE favorites bar.Create a shortcut of the bat file: (right-click, 'send to', 'desktop - create shortcut').
Now in my final example (thanks for staying with me), I'll create a Windows shutdown batch file, then add it to my IE Favorites bar, and finish it off with a custom icon. If done correctly, your bat will have an icon that has 'gears' (as shown below). Name it anything you wish (but something that makes sense), like appwiz.bat.
